I recently purchased the PNY GeForce 4 MX 420 (62 MB) video card. The drivers included on the setup CD did not work for my TFT LCD monitor made by SVA Group (Model VR-17S). However, they do work for my old CRT monitor. The kicker is the MS Xp drivers work for the TFT and CRT monitor. I contacted PNY Tech Support and I tried to install V 41.09 per their e-mail reply and the 42.30 WHQL from Guru3d with no luck. The LCD monitor goes to sleep (black screen) when these drivers are installed because it claims it did not receive or could not receive a signal from the card. Therefore, I'm running the card with the MS Xp drivers.
My OS is Windows Xp SP1. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate a reply to this post.
