Seeing the four of us on this stage, about to take our next steps in pursuing that purpose, is living proof. I believe that many of the 'things' that Paul refers to are actually people, many of whom are seated in the audience.
Our family, our friends, and our teachers, have certainly been a main element in bringing us this far, along with those who helped us get here, but couldn't be here with us. Now I would like to bring your focus to the present, and present you with a challenge. The time you have spent in prayer for us has gotten us onto this stage tonight. I challenge you to continue those prayers throughout our college years and beyond. At each new point in our lives, we say hello to the new things that life offers and goodbye to the old things. As we inch closer to the moment in which we receive our diplomas, high school becomes one of those old things, and college becomes the newest thing in sight.
