Although that said, Cricket 07 is what we're playing now - it's tough putting up with all the bugs and other wrong crap. Used to be SNES cricket for a long long while, then BLC 2005 shortly then Cricket 07. Gee why can't it be like SNES cricket again - decent manual fielding and my favourite; the appeal key =D.
But yeah, reading the promo material (yes I know, worded to sound better than it probably is), BL/RP Cricket 2007 should crap all over EA's game, yet again. Most interest to me is the LAN play (hopefully so the batter can't see the bloody bowling cursor) and more manual fielding. Im loving this game (xbox 360 version).
My best score is 67 off 18 balls. A few things i hope arent in the final game - The Ai opponent keeper never seems to slip up, shots always on target and catches all returns pretty easily - Hopefully the opposition batting orders are randomised abit - Ive had some really dodgy decisions (i.e there bat not being grounded yet being given not out) - Sometimes when your running between wickets there not in any hurry to ground there bat (same animation over and over) Other then those few things im really enjoying it. Would be even better as an online game (especially if you can limit the number of overs). Could you plz let us know how the online play fairs?
